My word! This issue of The Dribble Drabble Review is GOOD. Reading through its stories, one after another, I'm remind-ed of that marvellous characteristic of flash - its inverse proportionality - the fact that the real subject matter (or theme) of fictions of this kind is often as big as the works are (in a material sense) small. Here, there is gloom and menace and longing, as well as dreaming and comedy and love. This and SO much more... each gigantic human subject embedded in a wonderfully concrete little tale.”
